GNH MISSION BHUTAN 2024

“Reflections & Connections - A Journey into Consciousness”

A 7-day learning and spiritual journey in Bhutan

12-19th September 2024

USD $3990

In today’s fast-paced and increasingly turbulent and distracted world, we

invite you to join us on a reflective journey toward self-discovery.

The GNH Centre Bhutan, in collaboration with our partners from Creative Universe and the Hunt Family Foundation, have co-created a very special program to help you know yourself at a deeper level and share your spiritual path with like-minded people. Together with an introduction to the philosophy of Gross National Happiness, the program aspires to inspire, infuse, and awaken your inner nature, unleash your creative energy and expand your heart. This program is designed for transformation.

Curated sessions will focus on and address the following:

  • How can the vision and values of GNH translate into individual and collective action that promotes the well-being of all life?
  • Exploring Gross National Happiness in Bhutan and its applications at a personal, organizational and national level.
  • Meeting with local Bhutanese experts, staying in a local farmstay, visiting inspiring projects, people and sacred spaces, connecting with ancestors and places of the highest potential.
  • Cultivating personal and collective happiness skills, sacred purpose, mindfulness and compassion, deep listening and holistic wellbeing.
  • Connecting to Source through solo time in nature, including a mountain pilgrimage to explore how to manifest your aspirations in the outer world.

Our explorations will take us to Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro, and will include meeting with local GNH experts and Bhutanese. We will be staying in a charming rural heritage home to experience Bhutanese family life, pristine nature hikes, guided meditations and conversations with Bhutanese spiritual teachers, and a pilgrimage to the sacred Tiger's Nest monastery.

Special side event and sensing journey to Thimphu Tsehchu

A festival of Buddhist teachings on life and death enacted through masked dances. These are important events in the lives of Bhutanese people because they provide an opportunity to immerse and cleanse bad karma and remind them of what they can make of their lives. Participating in this is considered a great blessing.
