The Transformational Programme for RoundGlass Fellows was held from 14 February 2017 – 20 February 2017. The programme took the participants on an inner journey where one could reflect and use mindfulness techniques to undergo a transformative experience, implementing the values of GNH.
The participants understood the concept of GNH from its origin followed by activities. They were also presented the tools on Time Use- Busyness and Leadership. Further, they learnt how to draw Mandala, did role plays, participated in the symposium on GNH & Education,Development,Social Entrepreneurship and Wellbeing. They also under went deep relaxation techniques. The participants also cooked lunch for themselves in one of the days.
Faith from New Delhi, India, said, “everything is so calm and peaceful here and it might be difficult for me to practice in my place. However, tools and techniques I am taking from this program will help me all the time.”
“I have learnt to find beauty in simple things,” said Deepak from Derahdun, India.
The participants also had a trip to Punakha and the programme ended with a hike to Taktshang(Tiger’s Nest) in Paro. Every day the participants went through guided meditation, sharing circle and storytelling.
